If you are 100%, 24/7 profoundly happy, enthusiastic and driven, then this article is not for you. However, I would love to learn all about your life-strategy.
What I’ve learned from my own, and clients’ experiences, is that life is capable of taking you places you never thought even existed. Last week, a friend narrated her life changing story, during which she declared something that stuck with me. “If I knew what I was going to experience for the last 5 years, 10 years ago, I would ask God to kill me there and then. I certainly wouldn’t consider myself well equipped-with the necessary emotional and psychological strength to survive the torture from what I’ve been through.” She said. “However, I wouldn’t trade my experiences for anything else. I appreciate them. They’ve made me who I am today.” She continued.
I found this compounding perception of her story both inspiring and intelligent. There are so many times we all go through things, during which we dread them, hate ourselves and everybody involved, hate God. Some people even opt for death. However, at the end of the tunnel, after contemplating on those experiences, we discover that they were indeed, blessings in disguise. Besides, life is a mystery-which we need to enjoy, learn from, adjust to, and embrace everything that reveals itself in form of experience as part of our evolution. The idea is to connect to our higher selves, develop unwavering faith in life, and God; cleanse and heal ourselves on a perpetual basis-a state of being that will help us go through life with enthusiasm.
What makes you, you? How has life’s experiences contributed to your purpose?
