If worrying was a mutual fund, the stakes would go so high that traders and their entire family-tree members would retire for life.
We, the amazing human race deserve Oscars in worrying. We are rock-star worriers. We do it so well and I wouldn’t be surprised if we did it in our sleep as well. We worry every day, minute, and second of our waking lives.
We worry on holidays—days meant for celebration…such as, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, the Idi Mbarak day, our birthdays, and new years’ day. We worry before, during and after Thanks Giving Day; a day reserved for gratitude. Worrying has become so part of our mind-routines that if companies or organizations could, they would allocate a 15 minutes worry-break every 2 hours—so people could focus on worrying and then go back to work without worry interrupting their actions.
