“Poverty is the art of dwelling in heavens of hell.”
~ Dr. Jacent M Mpalyenkana-Murray, PhD, MBA
In the bible it is implied that the poor will not enter into the kingdom of God. In my opinion they were referring to the poor in mindset, the poor in behavior, poor self-belief and self-worth. Those who have a poor self-concept of themselves will always dwell in mental and emotional states of hell.
In case you don’t know where to tap or what the symbols mean, please refer to this diagram. And…you are welcome. 🙂
In some religions, they preach that God does not support wealth. And that it is ungodly to be wealthy. In this book, I will not indulge in religious disciplines. Rather, let me explain what I know about God.
Imagine that you decided to cover up the entire sky because you hate space. So, you collect a couple of friends and build strong and long towers in all corners of the earth. Next, you cover up the sky with thick, dark blankets that you nail into the towers. You continue patching up any gaps, spaces, and holes that you find so that the space in the sky is completely out of your sight.
Whether or not you accomplish your goal, sooner than later you realize you could only cover up the sky because you had the space in which to do so. If there was no space, you wouldn’t even breathe. You wouldn’t move. You wouldn’t be able to do anything. Your body is space, filled with whatever is in your body. For anything to be anything or anywhere, space is required. Equally, because God is infinite, “He/It” is everywhere. Just like the space in the sky and below it, we cannot escape the presence of God. God is not definite, meaning that God is not a thing or a person. God is imageless. Everything dwells in God, and God dwells in everything—unless, of course, you believe you are excluded from infinity, which belief is more fictious than fiction itself.
Money, wealth, poverty, and everything that is perceivable, and even unperceivable are in God. There is nothing without God. And this means that you cannot lose your connection with God, because you have earned or attracted more money. Note that you, the attraction of money, and the money itself, are all in God. God is also the supreme consciousness and awareness in which everything dwells. God is first and last of everything. You cannot lose the connection with existence. And God is existence, the source of existence and the awareness of existence. Try as you may, believe as you wish, deny with all the effort you have, but you can never be separate from God. You cannot escape God…and you have no choice.
Now that those facts are out of the way, let’s use the magical tools of EFT and ho’oponopono to dissolve the shadows of doubt and the egoistical based belief that you are separate from God, or that you can lose your connection with God when you become wealthy.
Let us begin.
Please refer to chapter 1 for more instructions about where and how to tap, if you haven’t already.
Please tap on the karate chop point and report the following statements.
Even though I have this fear that I will lose my connection with God when I earn more money; I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Even though I have believed for so long that I am separate from God; I love, accept, and forgive myself and everyone else involved.
Even though I have believed other people’s opinions and beliefs about God; that is okay, I am doing the best I can.
General Session: (Note: I did not design the scripts in this session using the 5 steps procedure.)
Take a deep breath and continue tapping on the meridian points as you repeat the corresponding statements.
EB: What a costly mistake to believe that I am separate from God!
SE: I have been moving around believing that God is far away from me.
UE: I have excluded myself from God, my source, holding onto beliefs that do not serve me.
UN: Why would God hate me or disown me because I have figured out how to be wealthy? This is sheer insanity.
Chn: I am so sick and tired of not having enough money, yet I keep inventing reasons to support my scarcity-infused consciousness. This is not right.
CB: I have been living a life of lies, with beliefs and fears that limit me. Oh my God!
UA: It is time for me to wake up to the truth that God is nearer to me than my breath. God is my supply, my life and my awareness of being.
TH: I am now open to reconnecting with God within me, well knowing that it is God who provides, and I can never be separate from Him.
Say this prayer after the above session. The idea is to tune into your heart and believe every word you say. Repeat the prayer as many times as you deem right.
Divine creator, father, mother, God, I am so sorry for believing that I am separate from you. I forgot that my very I am-ness is you. I am, is your name; and it is my name also. We are not separate. I am, because you are.
Please forgive me for dreaming and believing that all I was, was my identity.
I let go of all my delusional notions of being separate from you, God.
I release my grip on the beliefs I have developed about who God is in me and who I am in God.
I return all my attention to my source, my creator.
I love you so much, divine creator, father, mother, God.
Thank you for loving me, taking care of me even when I didn’t really know or understand our relationship, or who and what you really are. Thank you for my life, and for bringing me to this point of recognition.
I love you, and I thank you.
Take a few deep breaths and smile.

“Contestant number three, come up,” said the Miss Uganda Beauty Contest MC. And that contestant was me. As soon as I heard my number, fear took over my mind first, then my body. I started shivering and breathing as if I was going to die. I actually thought I would pass out. All my insecurities popped up in my mind like a dead fish on a water surface. My sight became blurred. I could hardly see. And all this happened in less than a minute. I later realized that the moment I gave in to the fear, it seemed to recruit all its negative relatives in form of emotions and memories.
I finally found my way to the stage. And I looked at everyone in the audience as if they had a gun pointed at me. My voice trembled as I answered the questions. Long story short, I didn’t take the crown home. I didn’t win the contest. And that’s how fear stole my Miss Uganda crown. But who is to blame? Me, myself and I. I gave in to the fear. I believed it. I welcomed it and it certainly showed up in avalanches.
The point is, if this fear blocked me from expressing myself confidently and probably winning the contest, how would it affect the flow of money to you? See, we are bombs of energy. And money is to us what we are to it. Money doesn’t chase after us; we do. But why? Because we have forgotten who we are to money and what money is to us. If we remember that money is nothing without us, then we let go of all our fears and be open to the different ways that can lead us to money-making opportunities. We have to remember that the energy of money flows to where the energy is clear, with a sense of ease. If you have money related fears, your relationship with money is conflicted and constricted.
I have a resource for you. Use the EFT and ho’oponopono scripts in my newest book. Stimulate Your Magnetism and you will reap the benefits.
A few years ago I found myself in an ambulance being rushed to the hospital for what I believed was a heart attack. My conditions started earlier that morning when I felt as if my heart was going to jump out of my chest. I felt fear overwhelm my senses and I believed I was going to die. The more I allowed the fear to overwhelm me, the more I shivered and trembled. In the ambulance on the way to the hospital the fear seemed to amplify. By the time we got to the hospital my entire body was shivering as if I was being electrocuted.
They took all sorts of blood work and when the doctor finally saw me, he said, “Girl, how do you feel now?” “I am okay.” I said. Apparently, the longer I stayed in the hospital the better I felt. I relaxed and started breathing normally. I wasn’t sure what was wrong. But I was certain that I was in some kind of danger.
“You were having a panic attack,” said the doctor. “What are you worried about?” He continued. I was in shock. I couldn’t believe what he said. I thought I was in control of my emotions, but apparently I wasn’t.
Weeks before the panic attack, I had experienced a lot of traumatic events. Little did I know that I had saved them in my psyche. I had anointed these memories with avalanches of fear. And the more I gave into the fear, the more it manifested into panic, and hence the attack. This is how I concluded that fear is what we give it. It is just an emotion lingering in our consciousness until we give it our attention. Considering that our attention is so precious, everything we give it thrives.
What is in this Story For You?
~ Do you have money related fears?
~ What about money makes you afraid?
~ What negative memories about money do you have?
~ Is your money-conditioning free of fear?
~ How is fear blocking the flow of money into your experiences?
We often use doubt to investigate or negate actions, reactions or interactions. And these are normally external to us. However, we can also use doubt to disable our negative emotions.
Have you ever questioned your fears? Have you ever doubted fear without attaching it to the subject? Note that the subject is the whatever triggers the fear.
What if you start doubting your fears as they erupt in your mind? Why wouldn’t you?
When I feel fear, I always tell myself, “Fear, I doubt your genuinety, relevance and objectives. I doubt your intentions. I even doubt your root causes and reality. I doubt you, fear.” Silly as it might seem, this technique works to disable the fear.
You can also use doubt to doubt all other negative emotions or negative thoughts. And as you doubt them remember to maintain your position as the witness of your practice: meaning that you don’t add anything else to the doubt. Leave it virgin.
The lyrics to one of my favorite songs is, “When you let go of fear, the truth will appear, so simple and clear.”
Wouldn’t you agree?
How many times have you believed something to be what it is not, got super afraid of your convictions, only to realize at a future date that your belief and related fear weren’t the truth? How relieved did you feel?
At one point, I was so afraid of heights. My partner had to convince me to go down a kid’s slide. Before I got on it, I saw kids sliding down the simple slide easily and effortlessly. No one died. Yet I was so afraid to get on it. This is when I realized that I had deep-rooted fear for heights, and I also held onto it. I believed the fear and respected it.
My partner convinced me for about an hour before I got on the slide. And guess what? I didn’t die. lol
Why am I telling you this story? What is in it for you?
Well, what money-related fears are you carrying around in your psyche? Are you afraid that when you get wealthy or wealthier, you will lose your connection to your tribe? Do you believe that your family will isolate you if you hit that million? One of my clients told me once that she was afraid of becoming wealthy because her status will be received as disrespecting her father who had failed miserably in life. What other money-related fears do you hold dear?
Note that whatever we are afraid of, we promote more of. When we let go of fear, we see the truth of what things really are.
Whether you are dealing with the fear of not having money, losing money when you get it, or never having enough money, plus 14 other money related fears, that constipate your money magnetism, this book will help you resolve those fears.
Whenever a negative emotion overwhelms you, silently or loudly say, “I am not that.” And it doesn’t matter what the emotion is or who intense it feels. Once you disconnect from it by saying the statement, “I am not that” emotional relief is instant.
We all know that we are not our experiences, emotions, achievements, identities, tribes, desires, plans, possessions or even the roles we play. And although at times we might get so caught up in the things we have, want or the relationships we are in, we are still not them. We are the witnesses of all these things. We own them. It is the egoistical mind that convinces us that we are what we have, want, or our experiences. However, we are different, in that we are not things, we are not our thoughts. We are the space that dwells in our bodies, and actually beyond space. We are pure consciousness expressing as human beings, in our bodies. When we remind ourselves of this truth constantly, we are not affected by the illusion in our worlds.
Daddy issues will not discriminate against you whether you are a man or woman, and/or the choice of your sexuality. Implying that, as a child if your father wasn’t the man you expected or wanted him to be, this is going to affect your adult relationships. Note that your father’s behavior whatever it was, has determined your beliefs about men in general. The relationship you had or didn’t have with your father is the foundation upon which you know how to relate with your partner(s), and other people.
In these EFT series I will be using EFT (The Emotional Freedom Technique) to help you to resolve conflicts and negative stories reflecting on your father.
Please remember to go through this session for at least 14 days for it to be effective.
