Influential Psychology: One out-of-the box Business Persuasive Skill:

dog-woman-3

Among other benefits, learning several psychological based tools of persuasion can give you insight into when they’re being used on you. The biggest benefit of this is that you can use these skills to influence others to buy from you. Below is a trick that most people use even when they are not aware of its psychological benefits.

Tip: Get or borrow Man’s best friend (At least for many). Take a picture of you with a dog.

In order to give people the impression that you’re loyal, and to inspire them to be loyal to you, put up a picture of you with a dog (it doesn’t even have to be your own dog). This can make you seem like a team player, but don’t go overboard; putting up too many pictures with different dogs will kill the trick.

Here are some examples.

Going Through Hell? 5 Ways to Liberate Your Life:

Going through hell

Going through hell? Been there. There are times in my life when I felt as if I had a concrete and eternal contract with Satan himself. Everything in my world seemed to be crumbling. I took one step forward, and then 1000 steps backwards. There is nothing I did that made me feel happy or purposeful. I was eventually short of answers and tools to try and liberate my soul. I didn’t know what else to do. Suddenly, I stopped. I stopped searching; stopped looking for answers; and just lived every moment as it prevailed.

If you are experiencing havoc in your life, I hope the following 5 steps help you remember that every beginning has an end. As long as it is a challenge, it has a solution. There are no questions without answers.

  1. Wake up every morning and breathe deeply for at least 30 minutes. As you breathe, imagine that you are breathing in pure positive energy, and breathing out all the negativity.

 Breathe1

  1. As you take a shower, repeat the statement; “I release all that no longer serve me”— over and over again until you are done with the shower.

 Release

  1. During the day when worries and sadness creep in, breathe deeply. Imagine that you are breathing in a white healing light from God, and breathing out all that no longer serve you.

 Light of God

  1. Drink a lot of water. And as you ease yourself, repeat the statements; “I’m releasing all that no longer serve me.”

 drinking water

  1. Before you go to bed, say out loud, “From this very moment, and as I sleep tonight, my unconscious mind is liberating my spirit, freeing my mind, empowering my soul, and branding me to live a full life.”

Affirmations

I encourage you to go through this exercise for as long as you can, at least until you feel better about your life. Remember that the answers we seek are all engrained inside of us.

The Biggest Mistake That Business People Make:

The biggest mistake that wedge us from achieving what we want for our businesses and lives is NOT SETTING CLEAR GOALS.

   goals

How do we expect our brains to focus on finding the right resources without giving them the directions they need to take us where we want to go?

 directions 2

How do we expect to get somewhere without knowing where we are going?

 lost

It’s funny, because we set goals every day. We know that when we jump into our vehicles, we set goals to get somewhere at a particular time, and for a particular reason—whatever that could be.

goals are good

  1.  Why then do we find it hard to set concrete and realistic goals for our businesses?

  2.  What do you think blocks you from setting those goals, and then developing the strategies you need to help you get there?

As you ponder on the above question, I have a resource for you. As a Success Coach, I have some great and unique personalized tools that we can employ to help you set articulate, clear and realistic goals.

Meet Your Worst Enemy: The Self-Fence:

chimpanzee-altruism_7212

I’m certain you are wondering what I mean by “Self-Fence.”

Yap…every one of us has it. We all tend at times to come up with all sorts of reasons why we shouldn’t take action, follow through, respond to emails, or adjust to change. We feed into our cognitive dissonances to upgrade our self-denials.

The “Self-Fence” is that thing that gets us stuck in our little uncomfortable hells—wishing that things could magically change. We procrastinate, postpone important tasks, and do whatever it takes to remain unsuccessful—yet blame everyone else but ourselves.

I’m certain that this “self-Fence” is what has blocked you from reading a book every day, and/or signing up for personal development seminars or programs. It’s funny that this “self-fence” is what has prevented you from signing up for my Business Intelligence Mastermind—a resource that will help you take your power back, and become the authority of your craft. And I’m not blaming you for not registering for our Business Intelligence Mastery full day Boot Camp… it’s “Self-Fence.”

3 habits of Successful Business Owners:

business success

The subtle dream of business success captures the imagination of aspiring and existing business owners globally. Every business owner has a vision of flowing profits, industry respect, thrilled customers, and a balanced life. However, this vision is only possible by developing habits that drive business success. Below are three tips that I have exercised, and achieved some major business success leaps as a small business owner

 Habit 1. Develop Inner Networks:

inner networks

Take the time to identify and build relationships with key peers, mentors, and advisers. This inner network provides support, direction, and an increased number of people to assist. Remember that networking is a numbers game. The more influencers you have in your team, the more opportunities you have to succeed in your business.

Habit 2. Commit to the Customer:

Customer-Services

Business success requires an unwavering commitment to the customer. This commitment encompasses a mindset of understanding the customers’ world. Understanding the customers’ wants and needs provides the business with a greater opportunity to earn a loyal customer base. It is important to focus more on what you can do to improve the life of your customers. This is what brings in profits.

Habit 3. Honest Business, and Personal Evaluation:

SWOT-Analysis-CMYK

Business success requires the ability to know your strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Being open and honest about yourself and your business creates growth as an individual and as a company. In traditional business, this concept is referred to as the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis.  It is vital for business owners to take time out at least once monthly to analysis their SWOTs.
