The Power in Immateriality – In Memory of my Father

We live in a material world, or at least need materials to facilitate our lives. Evidently materialism has its place. However, the source of materiality takes the superior position if compared to the latter. All things regardless of their nature and magnitude are rooted in immateriality, aka the invisible: and to be more specific, consciousness. To divert slightly, invisibility is the source of visibility. And sometimes, if not most, the invisible nuggets we possess are more powerful and impactful than our “visibles.”

Why am I sharing this?

Well, today is 28 years since my biological father decided to leave his body. At a very tender age, I looked at his lifeless body and felt my heart melt in tears by the burning, unending and determined pain. I was heart broken. I was confused, disappointed and afraid. I hadn’t known him long enough. I didn’t know how I was to remember him. I didn’t know what he had left for me, that I would hold onto to keep him alive in my mind, and especially in my heart. I moaned his death for years.

But today, I understand that the immaterial wealth our parents leave in us, is more important than the material they give us. I know that even if he had left for me the most expensive car on earth, it would not hold the same value, today. I have also learnt that values, skills, knowledge and wisdom, are some of the most valuable invisible nuggets that have the power to endlessly create visible things… materialism.

No material thing survives time. Time consumes everything. So, today, I sit in gratitude and honor of my father, because of the wisdom he gave me–wisdom that has stood the test of time. I remember he told me that money is important but it doesn’t buy love; forgiveness is a pathway to peace: and trusting other human beings is overrated. As I get older, these nuggets of wisdom are great additions to my personal values. They possess the potential for unlimited materialism, or wealth, in different forms. Most importantly, although I miss my father very much, what he left in me, keeps him alive in my heart. And although he is no longer visibly available for me to see, he is always alive in my mind, in my heart and in my life. He is always here with me in my very DNA: the DNA he gave me when he fathered me. And I will forever be grateful for what he left in me.

What is in this Story for you?

Below are a few of the takeaways.

  1. True wealth is rooted in the invisible world. What you have, is who you are.
  2. The most precious gifts in life, are invisible nuggets such as wisdom, knowledge, skills and personal values.
  3. Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it is not there.
  4. Gratitude is like a sun: it brings warmth and light in times of sadness and darkness.
  5. We don’t die: we only leave our bodies. 🙂

How Does Your Name Impact Your Experiences?

“All definitions confine the defined, to themselves.”

This quotation implies that things are confined to what they are defined to be. For instance, money is a term used to define coins and bank notes that reflect on the value they hold. If these coins and bank notes were termed differently, the term would reflect the same projection. This also implies that every definition, term or name, has a vibration or hidden indication behind it.

I have a brother named Lucky. And Lucky, is extremely Lucky. You get the point, right.

The questions are; what is your name? What does it mean? How did they come up with that name? Where did it come from? Do you know how it impacts your life?

Note that every time your name is called, it decrees the vibration and meaning behind it. If your name is say, Diamond, believe it that every time someone calls your name, they affirm that you are a diamond whether they know it or not. Names, just like definitions, are affirmations. Names have hidden powerful indications and reflections of something more mysterious and deeper than the names themselves.

Think about the name, Jesus. Everyone knows that it has power. And this is because of who owned it, how he lived his life and what his life meant to the world.

Therefore, it is important to cleanse your name of all negativity in whatever form it might exist, so that it doesn’t affect your life.

In my book, Power-Prayers For Personal Freedom From all Bondage, among other prayers, you will pray to cleanse and purify your name.

Check out the book and get your copy today. Note that commitment is power. So, commit to free yourself from all bondage. And sometimes, it is as simple as praying—and of course with faith.

The Role of Perception in Life

“The goal of all perception is to fully realize itself in whatever it perceives.” Dr. Jacinta M Mpalyenkana-Murray

The above quote came to me during one of my meditations. And it means that perception fully manifests when it sees itself in whatever it perceives.

“Perception fully realizes itself when it sees itself in whatever it perceives.” – Dr. Jacinta Mpalyenkana-Murray

Your perception is mirrored in what you perceive regardless of whether the former reveals the truth in whatever is perceived or not. And since perception is projection, your perceptive nature is projected from your inner world. So, you see the world as you are and not necessarily as it is. Hence, the saying, “As with in you so with out.”

Note that this notion has a few interesting implications.

  1. Your perception serves you by perceiving and presenting a reflection of your inner programming. Note that somewhere along the way you allowed information and data to comfortably dwell within, and program you, and this is how you design and project your perception onto your outer world.
  2. You are the authority of your experiences because you are the recruiter of the inner programming upon which you project and perceive the world, and the experiencer of these projections.
  3. You are superior and boss to your perceptive nature. Perception obeys you, and responds to your needs and delivers exactly that which you desire, good or bad.
  4. You are more powerful than you think. However, you can use this power to deliver positives in your experiences or create havoc in your life. It all depends on you. Remember, within you, is the King of your life’s kingdom.

The questions are:

(a) Are you taking on the king’s position or the slave’s?

(b) How do you become the authority of your experiences?

(c) How do you stay on top of your life’s game and win yourself back from the insanities in life?

In my book, The Sanity Warrior: Becoming the Authority of Your Experiences, you will discover or simply be reminded of your God-given powers and how you can use them to transcend the virus of the psychological mind and then live life on more positive terms.
