Love is known as the biggest force in creation. I wasn’t there :), but I’m certain that God created this entire universe employing the power of love. It is only through love that we thrive, nourish our minds, and glow internally and externally. The challenge of late is finding love. In a world bombarded with a lot of negativity and the growing inability of people to love themselves, and hence understand how to love others, how do we attract true love?

The three steps below explain the simple but proven actions to turn one into a love magnet.

1. Release your negative internal representations, self-limiting beliefs, negative memories, sadness and low self-esteem about yourself.

2. Invest in actions that raise your self-esteem and self-love.

3. Relax and know that love will come your way.

Remember, we only attract who we are. Once we invest in renewing our internal worlds and loving ourselves unconditionally, love shows up, and effortlessly.

Five Steps to Help you Stop Procrastinating and then Take Action.

So, you have a brilliant idea, product or project that you’ve been evaluating, analyzing, and consistently re-thinking about. You’ve probably taken a lot of time establishing all the reasons why you can’t take action.

In your mind, you are 100% certain about everything that could go wrong. You have basically employed yourself as the biggest block towards achieving your desired goals.

The following five proven steps will help you get started.

Step 1: Establish what you want to achieve out of your goal.

This should be something internal, a feeling or state of being that you will achieve when you realize your goal. This process will help you get in touch with your internal benefits connected to achieving the goal. In this step, you are encouraged to explain how you will feel when you achieve the goal.

Step 2. Write down 10 reasons why you haven’t taken action.

Please don’t think about all the reasons why you don’t have any reasons that prevent you from taking action. At times we have so many excuses to the extent of developing more excuses to justify our excuses.

Step 3. Write down 20 reasons why you should take action.

By establishing more reasons to take action than not to, you dispel the later reasons. This process will also help you to tap into the reasons why you set your goal.

Step 4: Establish the first step you are going to take towards achieving your goal.

Step 5. Take ACTION.

Start small. Take one step at a time. Be consistent, and stay focused.

When you look in the mirror, what do you hear?


negative mirror talk 1Yes, you read the question right. What do you hear when you look at the mirror? Apparently, for this particular article, it is not what to you see in the mirror, but what you HEAR that makes all the difference.

Unfortunately people hear negative self talk and critical chatter more often than not. They judge themselves harshly and relentlessly. (I’m sure it is not you…I’m just saying)

The voices in their heads go on: “I’m too old; I’m too dark; look at all these wrinkles; bla bla bla. The voices go on and on, and so does the physical facial reactions to match the inner dialogue. That slowly but surely eats away their confidence, self esteem, and enthusiasm.

Question: How can one stop the negative clatter and replace it with positive prompters?

There are numerous ways; one of them is telling oneself to STOP the negative voice every time it starts the useless chat.

So, there you are trying to control what you can’t: trying to seek for what you don’t have yet longed for, for so long. You’ve turned every stone looking for solutions for a particular dilemma in your life; yet found no answers. You’ve done everything you know, or discovered as a solution for your problem, yet nothing has worked. You know that you are more than what you are experiencing. Deep within you is a yawning that keeps harassing your senses to expand, and deliver your gifts to the world. However, everything in the world seems to be against you. You have actually stopped appreciating the good things you have in your life, because you know that you deserve more. You know that there is more for you.

My dear friend, I know, because I’ve been there.

A few questions to ponder: what if this is it??? What if for now, this is what your fate was designed to be? What do you plan on doing for, and with your life?

Suggestion: Become grateful for everything your 5 senses have availed you in the past, and in the now: focus on that. For instance: become grateful for the things that you’ve seen in the past, and recently that brought you joy. Become grateful for the gift of hearing, tasting, feeling, intuiting, and most importantly, living. It would work best if you make a list of 10 things you are grateful for, for the next 10 days.

Trust me; God Exists: A personal Inspirational Experience.

This week, I experienced the power of God—the creator…indeed he is.  I was pushed to the wall. I had a very important document that is expiring soon. When I called into the system to inquire about the renewal procedure, I was told that the document couldn’t be renewed unless I had some other documents—which I don’t have. I called for hours looking for solutions, and the answer remained “NO.” I was stuck. I didn’t know what to do. I need this document to operate. Without the document, it was going to be very hard for me to survive in this country. So I went down on my knees; closed my watery eyes, and said; “Creator, I’m stuck. But you aren’t. You know it all. Please help me accept this situation as it is. Tell me what to do.” Nothing came through my mind. My instinct and inner voices were blank. When I opened my eyes, I had a shower, dressed up and drove to the headquarters of the office handling the issuance of those documents. I’m not sure how or when I made up my mind to go to their offices; because I didn’t plan or even think about it. I had given up. In my small mind, I was waiting on God to help me accept the situation. And I guess this was his way of leading me to accept things as they were.

When I got to the office, they took me through a simple and normal procedure to renewal my document. And without asking me for any documents that they had indicated on the phone, or on their internet site, they handed me an approved renewal confirmation to get my document in the mail. Right at that moment, I knew that indeed there is a POWER, so damn powerful–something beyond our human understanding that has our backs.

How to Escape the Enslavement of your Brain.

I recently decided to administer an experiment with intent to establish the extent to which my daily habits were cemented in my unconscious.  To support the proceeding, I moved my toothpaste cup to an opposite cupboard. Every morning I unconsciously went to the original place where I always placed the toothpaste cup only to remember that I had moved it to a different place. It took me about two weeks before I could go straight to the new place without checking in the old one. This proved to me that if a habit as simple as the proceeding had taken me that long to change, how long would it take to change other profound thought processes and beliefs that I have established about myself since childhood? This discovery scared the hell out of me. However what soothed my racing mind was the fact that leaving the toothpaste cup in the new place eventually became the new habit.  Soon, I was able to go straight to the new location without much thought.

How does the above relate to escaping the enslavement of our brains?

It all comes down to one thing. Everything we do on a daily basis is grabbed by the brain as a sensation and manufactured into a habit. Every habit becomes the blue print of our experiences. Imagine that you’ve been thinking negatively for a long time. The brain will manufacture everything in your world to be in congruence with your most predominate thoughts.

CHILD-BRAIN-DRAIN

Start today by changing a simple self-limiting thought about yourself. For instance, if you’ve been telling yourself that you are fat, tell yourself several times that you have the perfect weight.

Begin with simple things, and then build up by changing all those negative thoughts about yourself.

Simplified:

  1. The first step is writing down all the things you think are negative about yourself.
  2. Write down everything that is not working in your life.
  3. Then write down the opposite attributes of the list in step 1, and what you want to happen instead in step 2.
  4. Read your new list in no. 3 — three times a day.

This will eventually re-wire your brain to navigate for what you want.
