This guided meditation is retrieved from the book, The Three Magic Words by US Anderson–one of the most influential books I’ve ever read. I’ve actually read the book 9 times. And every I read it, I discover something new. It’s one of the first books I read when I got on my self-inquiry journey.

It is recommended in the book that you listen to the meditation everyday for 21 days in order to cement the ideas in your unconscious mind.

In the meantime, I believe that this meditation will fill your unconscious mind with great prompters upon which you will be able to manifest whatever you want.

I’m sending you abundant love from my heart to yours.

How to Communicate Without Creating Conflict:

ConflictTo communicate to others about our concerns without creating conflict requires skill. To begin, sometimes the pressing concerns might be perceptions of how someone or others might have offended us. We might base the concerns on one’s reckless behavior; one who probably didn’t pay attention to what they were saying. However, we have to remember that at some point we also offended others unintentionally.

Note that we base our communication style on who we are, our thought patterns, and emotional states. A happy person will communicate in happy terms. An angry or sad person will communicate in a way that reflects those states. So, sometimes someone might communicate rudely because they are dealing with inner discomforts. When we point out what they did and how wrong they were, we create scenarios that can inspire them to fight back. They perceive us as enemies because we’ve triggered their “fight” sense. We have focused on what we believe is wrong about them: which creates more of the same behavior—considering that energy flows where the focus is. We are also focusing on them, and not on ourselves. We are resisting their behavior, which creates more of it. It is like opening a tin of worms.

The question then is, how can we communicate our concerns without creating conflict?

Let’s imagine that your boss screamed at you for something you didn’t do. To address your concerns, you say: “You screamed at me for something I didn’t do, and that makes you a very rude person.” When we evaluate the meaning of this statement, it’s clear you are apportioning blame, you have made conclusions about their character, and you have told them what you don’t want. Let’s imagine that you are the boss, how would those statements make you feel? How would you react or respond to your employee? Although you might concur that you were wrong, the way he/she communicated could trigger feelings of anger or defensiveness within you. Note that a relationship based on blame crumbles more often than not.

How Can we Improve?

Instead of, “You screamed at me for something I didn’t do, and that makes you a very rude person.” Consider, “When you screamed at me, I felt uneasy. I request that you tell me what you want or mean.” With the preceding statement, you haven’t made conclusions about their character, you haven’t blamed them, and you are making a request—which makes them feel important. You are also telling them what you want—which directs their attention from themselves to you.

When we communicate in terms of what we want, we help others understand what we want. We also avoid arguments. The idea is to be persistent in communicating in those terms. Because some people won’t get it immediately. They might be so accustomed to communicating in terms of what they don’t want and will not relate to your communication style. However, the more you stick to your positive communication trends, the sooner they will learn or at least mirror you.

In my book, Communicating Your Way to Success: Master the Art of Persuasion and Become the Authority of Your Craft, I share simple, proven tools of how to influence others to do what you want without taking away from what they want.

Are you READY to be Inspired? Check this OUT!!

IJon pic recently had the pleasure of meeting with, and interviewing Jon Pirincci, a comedian, actor, and author of the book “What’s a Little Wind?” As you read the following interview-content, you will discover more about Jon, his work and book. If you are looking for a good inspirational relate-able book, What’s a Little Wind?” is an amazing book to consider.

1. Tell us about yourself and what you do.

I was born in Seattle Washington. When I was five yrs old, my parents moved to Rochester New York. After a few years living in New York, I decided to go to Orlando, Florida, a sunny place, with better weather where I could pursue my comedy and acting career. After living in Florida for 4 yrs, I learned that the television and film industry in Miami was blooming. So I moved to Miami and lived there for six yrs.

In 1998, I moved to Los Angeles to further my career in Acting and Comedy. I have lived in Los Angles for the past 15 yrs.

I am an actor and comedian. I love Stand-up comedy; and have been doing that for over 20 yrs. I also produce webi-sodes and pod-casts.   Additionally, I am an author of a motivational-spiritual book titled–“What’s a Little Wind?”

 2. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I have always wanted to write. I started by writing Jokes for my comedy routine with impressions, then a sitcom. I then realized that I really wanted to write a book about my life that would also inspire, and empower others. This is when I embarked on writing the book, What’s a Little Wind?”

3. What do you think is unique about you as an author? What makes you stand out in the crowd of authors?

Having grown up in the 1960s and 70s, I understand the social positive structures and norms that made life fun and refreshing back then. This is some of what I embrace in my writing. I also blend in my humor and old fashioned values that everyone can relate to- especially in this era where technology is taking over humility and personable communication, in a world bombarded with negativity.

4. What inspired you to write this book?

I went to a motivational seminar by Joel Bauer in July 2013 where he indicated that everyone has a book in them. So I thought about it, and a month later I tapped into my creativity and started writing the book. And I have to admit that writing this book has been one of the most inspiring things that I’ve done in my life.

5How long did it take you to write this book?

4 months.

6. When did you publish this book?

I self-published it in March 2014 through CreateSpace.

7. Who did you write this book for?

I wrote the book for anyone who is looking for empowerment, inspiration, and real-life stories to relate to.

8Why do you think people should buy this book?

Since the book shares real life experiences of people who have gone through hard times, this book is written to inspire, empower and upgrade people’s lives. The book is very relate-able; which makes it easy for my readers to comprehend the fact that everything is about perception; and happiness is a choice that we can all make.

The book contains over 20 incredible and completely true stories about miracles of faith, angels, kismet, health, patriotism, neighbors, greed and spirits. Readers will also main achieve the following:

  • Gain new insights about this incredible, miraculous world we all live in.
  • Make meaningful and dramatic life changes based on fresh perspective.
  • Allow the wind to guide you into believing yourself and staying positive.
  • See how life opens one door and closes another for a reason that will soon be revealed.
9Please give us 4 benefits that your readers will achieve from this book.
  • They will be able to tap into their abundant happiness-resources.
  • They will understand that everything is about perception.
  • They will comprehend the fact that we all have a choice about what to focus on, and what to ignore.
  • The theme of the book, “What’s a little Wind” has inspired me and my readers to go through the hardest times—considering that stressing over our problems doesn’t make them easier, or chase them away. Becoming witnesses of our problems, and perceiving them as temporary, and with solutions to solve the problems, is what resolves them.

Stop procrastinating. No one will ever do your sit ups for you in order to gain those abs! Remember; you will only attract more if you become more!!!

Why Not????

This last weekend, I administered a two day healing workshop about healing the wounded heart to attract love.  As I compiled the workshop material, skepticism took over my mind.

“I wonder how many people will show up.” I thought to myself. “What if no one shows up?” My weak side continued.

I suddenly realized the kind of negative vibrations that I was infusing into my workshop. Much as they seemed really entertaining and soothing for my soul at that moment, they were also feeding into the negative programming of fear, doubt and failure.

As a way to snap out of this negative vibration, I asked myself these questions: Why not? Why not think of the positive? In any case I had nothing to lose. Why not just go for it? Why not go out there with enthusiasm knowing that whichever way the day presents itself, it will be alright?

I’m now posing the same questions to you. Why not take that empowering class that you’ve been putting off for a while? Why not see what will happen instead of blocking it when you don’t take action? Why not start thinking positively and convincing yourself that all is well regardless of appearances? Why not infuse your heart with love, forgiveness and inspired feelings, and then out of that vibration, do an act of love to a stranger today? Why not make a plan you’ve put off for a while…read that empowering book that has been lying on your shelf for months? Why not save the environment? Why not spend time meditating and praying? Why not take a vacation? Why not cancel all your paid-off credit cards and only make cash purchases?

I encourage you for the next couple of days to move away from the “why” and go for the “why not” attitude. You see…the “why” makes you a victim.  So go for it…“WHY NOT?”
