Are You affected by The Mind-Kombucha Syndrome?


What is kombucha?

Kombucha is a drink made out of some kind of live amoeba that feeds on sugar, green tea and water. Once the amoeba grows, you can remove some of it and place it in another container, add sugar, green tea and water and securely seal in a dark cool place for fermentation. Within a few weeks, it will be ready to drink. You can basically use one amoeba to produce tens more, as long as you keep it securely sealed in a cool, dark place during the few weeks or fermentation. .

This drink is a healthy substitute for probiotics.

Now, what has kombucha got to do with the mind?

The process of growth and accumulation for kombucha is similar to that of our minds. When we accept negative thoughts, emotions and memories to dwell within us for long periods of time, and especially feed them with our attention, they accumulate and recreate themselves into other negative states. For instance, if you have been holding onto a negative memory for a long period of time, and continue to give it your attention, it will create other negative habits, states and behavior, such as anger, resentment and the like. So, the more you hold onto these negative emotions and memories, the more they ferment and create more of themselves in different forms. The question then is, what are you holding onto that no longer serves you? What are you ready to let go? What will it take for you to decide to let go of all negative memories that no longer serve you?

As a spiritual counselor, I have witnessed some clients “housing” so much anger and deceit in their minds, to the extent that they no longer recognize the difference between themselves and these emotions/memories.

Therefore, as this year comes to an end, let’s take some time to ourselves to recognize the negative in our inner world and then do whatever it takes to let it go. Sometimes, letting go is as easy as taking a deep focused breath.

What is Authentic Success?|Weekly Inspiration


In my early 20s, I believed that success meant getting a good education, having a lot of money, making hundreds of friends and being in good health. Later on, I concluded that having good friends who were true, not only to themselves but also to me, was a good measure of success. But there came a time when I didn’t have money because I was stuck in more ways than one. All my friends started disappearing one by one. Even those I held onto thinking that they were friends weren’t: because I later discovered that they mocked, despised and judged me. So, I found myself alone. No friends, no money and in ill health.

On the onset, I concluded that I was a failure….I wasn’t successful. This conclusion almost drove me insane. The more I believed that I was a failure, the more emotionally and mentally weakened I felt. I went down the spiral of negative thinking and negative feeling until I drove myself into high levels of stress.

Then one day, my husband gave me my own dose of medicine. “You are not any of these things that you are feeling or thinking. They are in you. So be yourself without any of that.”

So, I started meditating and praying a bit longer than before. I decided that I was enough, with or without friends. I started forgiving myself and letting go of all guilt. I exercised with more focus. I changed my diet to a more plant based diet. I wrote in my gratitude journal daily. And within a short period of time I won myself back from the insanity that I had allowed to influence my emotional, and mental wellbeing.

Over the years, I have discovered that being in charge of how we feel and not letting external occurrences influence our emotional wellbeing is authentic-success. I believe it is a universal fact that’s true to every human being whether they acknowledge it or not.

Whether you are a trillionaire or zeronaire, feeling unconditionally good and being okay with everything without letting other people or circumstances influence how you feel is not subjected to anything external to you. You can do it whether you live on a tree or in a mason. In my humble opinion, that is authentic success. Authentic, because it is true to our nature. it is not based on anything external to us. It is an inbuilt attribute that’s only shadowed by our conditioning. Most importantly, it is easier to achieve any other type of success when you are emotionally well…when you feel good about life and about yourself.

It is normally drained by the fear of failure, excessive perfectionism, lethargy–low levels of energy, a lack of focus, frustration—and the like. Once you find the reason for procrastination and release it, procrastination tendencies are weakened.

Anger Management with Advanced EFT – 7 Video Sessions Included


In my humble opinion, anger is an indication that one is holding onto an unpleasant past. It is reveals that one is still stuck in the past–carrying a whole load of negative memories. 

There are many reasons on which anger is rooted. And although these reasons are acknowledged and respected, they retard, instead of progress us. 

My life has presented many opportunities for me to be angry. And I have given in to these “opportunities” more times than not. I have had very profound reasons to justify my anger. And I have held onto these reasons persistently at the back of my mind to promote the anger. I thought it was right and fitting, and actually needed of me to express my anger. I deserved to be angry. “Isn’t that what human beings do?” I thought.  Now, tell me about insanity!!  At the end of the day, the anger hurt me more than the people and experiences I was angry with. And this is a lesson to remember for as long as I live. I learned that it is vital for me to let things go as soon as they happen. There is absolutely no reason to hold onto an ugly past. And although one has to remember the lessons learned, the assigned perceptions and conclusions about the negative experiences should be nullified and dropped from the mind as quickly as possible.

It is important to remain silent and observe the angry thoughts dwelling in the mind before they take over our emotions.

You are not your Emotions: An EFT and Ho’oponopono Complimentary Session


A few weeks ago, I blogged about how we all at times, jail up ourselves and stay in relationships with people who are more than energy vampires.

In the relationship, you feel so emotionally weak and mentally drained, yet have no courage to walk away. He/she is like your personal blend of an addictive dangerous drug that you need to survive yet slowly but surely destroy yourself in the process. Consciously, you are well-aware that you should run for your life; however, something within you keeps you holding on. You can’t explain it. It hurts, yet emotionally stings even more, whenever you attempt to stay away from him/her.
