Many times we enthusiastically plan on embarking on new ventures, or investing in new projects–only to be warned by our hearts. Our hearts always find a way to alert us of a near future, and this is done through our feelings. I have made so many mistakes in the past every time I didn’t listen to my heart.
The challenge I offer you today is to listen to your heart in every venture you embark on for the next few days. Watch your feelings as you meet people. Check in to find out how you feel whenever you are about to make a decision. If a negative feeling envelops you before you make a decision, take time to examine if the feeling is based on fear or inspiration. If you listen to your heart, you will know where the feeling is coming from.
Remember, God is always talking to us; telling us what to do, or not to do, and guiding us through that soft, but confident voice that is always whispering to us through our hearts.

“A peace of mind, is the soul’s piece of cake”, is a quote I recently fabricated to reflect my feelings whenever I feel at peace with myself.
In the past, I struggled in relationships, communication with others, and personal growth. This was because my mind was in turmoil. I didn’t only hate myself, but also disliked most, if not everything about life, people, and the world in general. My own mind was at war with me. Apparently, I had allowed emotions attained through unfavorable experiences and memories, to comfortably log into my memory bank; only to create negatively-vibrant-conflicts in my feelings.
Everything ticked me off. Everyone made me sad, angry and despondent. I didn’t see or anticipate anything positive happening in my life. Consequently my physicality happily responded to the emotional body. My blood pressure levels drove to the sky. I was officially announced a high blood pressure patient. “Ama put you on high blood medicine if you don’t stop worrying”, Said the doctor. This woke me up. I knew that it was time to take control of my emotions, memories and mind. I remembered what my grandmother always told me…“the power within you, will only respond to the power of your intentions to access it.” I then embarked on a journey to liberate my life. Eventually, I saw a light at the back of my emotional-dark tunnel. I gradually started feeling peaceful even without much effort.
My message for you today is that the power within you, will only respond to the power of your intentions to access it….to heal your life. Yes you can liberate your life if you put your mind to work at it.

Abuse is defined as mistreatment, misuse, cruelty, ill-treatment, violence; anything else along those lines.
If you have ever been abused, whether psychologically, physically, mentally, sexually or emotionally, you will concur with me that it’s nothing close to a pleasant-English cup of tea. Abuse when directly mapped onto energy, is a field that moves away from the equilibrium point of stability. It is the exact opposite of harmony, joy, happiness and a peace of mind. Undoubtedly, it is something that shouldn’t be overlooked.
I am a past-victim of domestic, physical, psychological and emotional abuse. And I wonna tell you right now that it takes more than wishful thinking to forgive that part of you that hesitantly holds onto the related feelings. It involves forgiveness of the self and those involved. It implies digging deep and doing the mental and emotional work to erase the related memories-less of which it secretly logs in the faculty of your unconscious mind, only to continue manifesting related experiences in your life.
In this article, I have included a brief video, where I recorded an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) session-dealing with abuse. Please feel free to do the exercise as many times as you wish. You are the driver of your life. You have the responsibility to take control of it-less of which life will play you like an amateur in your own game.
