Four Steps to Achieving Unconditional Self-acceptance, and Self-love:

The media has programmed us to doubt, and hate our appearances to levels beyond comprehension. With all the naked and semi-naked pictures of super-slim celebrities meandering all over the internet, and magazines, it is almost impossible to practice self-acceptance.

It is absurd how advertisements have programmed us to dislike our physical appearances, and instead get us to seek validation and acceptance from air-brushed and artificial beings, paraded on the internet and print media. We’ve forgotten that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. And although it is imperative to maintain a healthy body weight, it is equally as important to appreciate and love ourselves unconditionally. The challenge at hand is knocking out the competition of the multi-billionaire media industry, which aggressively and robustly seeks to reprogram our minds for self-doubt. As an individual swimming in the sea of environmental negativity, it takes more than just wish-full thinking to remain positive, love and appreciate oneself regardless of physical weight, color, or height. What has worked for me, are the following four steps.

  1. Take care of yourself the best you can. Endeavor to exercise daily, eat right, and do things to make you feel good.

  1. Look at yourself in the mirror every morning and evening, and practice self-talk. It is as simple as repeating these statements:

–         I love myself unconditionally. –          I am beautiful exactly the way I am. –          I feel good about myself. –          I accept myself wholly. –          I’m unconditional love. ImageImage   ImageImageImage

  1. Surround yourself with positive-minded people who will uplift, and appreciate you for who you are.

  1. Work on developing a healthier self-esteem by identifying the good and unique things about yourself. It also means establishing what you think your estimate is, or your self-worth–in relation to your core values, achievements and aspirations. Get a dairy and keep note of the good things you realize about yourself, and the things that you do that make you feel proud.

Three Ways to raise your Attraction-Vibration


It has been said that everything begins from within us. And it does; because indeed the image we see in the mirror will never change until we change it. When we change our internal worlds, we change our external experiences.

Moreover to attract whatever we want, we’ve got to raise our energetic vibrations. When one feels good, they position themselves to manifest their heart’s desires.  However, how the heck can you feel good when your world is crumbling? Well, it is important to remember that we have choices. We can choose to feel good, or at the very least pretend to feel good—faking it, until we become it.

Below are the three things you can do to raise your vibration

  1. Make a list of 10 good things about you. Then stand in the mirror everyday and repeat these things to yourself. It is also fun to add something new to the list every day.

2. Make it a habit to do something to feel good on a daily basis. It could be as simple as taking a nap in the afternoon; or eating an ice     cream (not too much though J), or taking a walk; or watching a comedy movie.

3. Imagine a candle burning in your heart all day. This works miracles on your psychic. Stretch this exercise further by imagining that  the candle blows out every time you worry or stress. You could also make it more fun by placing a dollar in some place every time the  candle in your heart blows out…also implying that you spend a dollar for every worrying-moment. At the end of each week, take all the  money you’ve collected and give it to someone, anyone. The less you worry or stress, the less money you will give away.

The Love Day: The 5 Steps to Achieving Absolute Self-love:

Apparently, according to our social structures, love day is a day away. Interesting, right?  Does this imply that the remaining 364 days are hate days? What happens during these days? Are we supposed to save our love-related behavioral traits for 2/14? Are we expected to restrict our hearts for feeling love and doing things that reflect that, just to save the cream for the Love Day Theme? What are we supposed to do during the Hate Days?

In my opinion, we’ve mastered the attitudes and actions to take during the 364 Hate Days. We kill, conflict, prepare for war, steal, spam, trick, and do all the hate related activities around the clock. It is funny-because even on Valentine’s Day, a day that humanity has saved for love, we still do hateful things.

The next question then is; what can we do to feel and practice love 24/7, 365.5 days a year…every time, all the time? With all the negativity going around like a dangerous flu, how do we survive hate for ourselves, others and everything in our environment?

To achieve this, I have put together a 5 step proven process that will help one not only heal from self-hate and self-sabotage, but also help them achieve sustainable love for themselves and others.            

Step 1: Acknowledge that the greatest love of all is loving yourself. We all have to remember that our experiences are determined by our internal dialogues. Whatever we feel inside, is what we offer to the world. When you have absolute love for the self, this is exactly what you radiate to the world.

2.  Take 100% responsibility of your emotional baggage

This will help you initiate and succeed at the forgiveness process. When you realize that no one owes you anything, and that you owe yourself the focus and related actions to heal your life, then, and only then, can you gain back your self-power. 

3. Build sustainable self-standards.

This is self explanatory.  Set standards below which you won’t serve, receive, give, experience or relate. We have to remember that we are the navigation systems of our lives.

4. Nourish your spiritual being.

You can do this through meditation, prayer or whatever else your spiritual/religious preferences advocate for in order to maintain a sense of peace and faith in a higher power within you.

5.  Accept change as part of evolution.

This will help one maintain unconditional self-love regardless of external occurrences. No change or event will derail one’s high regard or love for themselves if they understand that change is part of progress.

Are you at the verge of giving up?


Are you at the verge of giving up?

Do you feel like everything is crashing down on you?

Have you tried everything in the books and nothing is working?

Are you experiencing the opposite of what you want?

Are you dead broke—worried to death about how you will pay current and past bills?

Are you lonely?

Difficult as it might seem, this is the best time to let things be. This is the best time to surrender. This is the best time to tell the universe, or God or whoever you believe in, that you trust it; that you have faith in it; that you are confident about whatever it is doing. Clearly, everything you are doing, thinking and manifesting is in conflict with your desires. Worrying just invests in a negative vibration and makes things worse. So, LET GO. Stop and remain still. If you are moving in a particular direction and seem to be hitting block after another, it is evident that you are moving towards the wrong direction. So if you don’t know what to do, why not stop doing anything for some time in order to give room for new ideas to reveal themselves? If you are in such a conflicted negative noisy world, how will you hear what the universe / God/ or whoever you consider to be your higher power—is telling you?
Remember; even if at times nothing seems to be happening, something always is. Not all that is happening is visible. The source of all creation lies in the invisible world. So this might be a time when the universe is creating a new world for you. This might be the time when you are removing all old layers to reveal the new you. And although it might feel painful, consider caterpillars and what they go through to become butterflies. For sure if insects can do it, you can do it.
What has worked for me is a simple breathing exercise.

1. Sit still for as long as you can. Make sure that your arms and legs are uncrossed.
2. Start breathing deeply.
3. Imagine that you are breathing in relaxation, and breathing out stress, worry and anxiety. Do this for about 10 minutes.
4. Imagine that you are breathing in pure positive energy, and breathing out the negative. Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Breathe in Love and light, and breathe out all that isn’t love and light. Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes.
6. Breathe in faith, and then breathe out resistance. Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Breathe in success, and then breathe our blockages. Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes.

It will take you about an hour to go through the breathing exercise if you do it as instructed. If you follow through, you witness a sense of relief and clarity after the exercise.

Has harming yourself begun feeling like a viable option?


I’m glad that I got your attention. Well…you’ve not stumbled on this article by mistake dear. Odds are that you’ve probably evaluated several means through which you can painlessly harm yourself as the only option to escape love-related emotional pain; or maybe not. Maybe it was in the past…a long long long time ago. Did you read a related story from a newspaper that’s no longer in print?  NO, I get it. You know someone who knows someone who is searching for the best solutions on the market to harm themselves because they don’t have the strength to get out of their love-slaughtering relationships. At least I have been there. And it wasn’t pretty.

Please note that your current paradigm doesn’t really matter. What matters is the fact that everyone I know who has been in love, me inclusive, has once felt like burying themselves alive as the best and only option out of a bad relationship; let alone the most viable solution for a heart break.

Conditional love, which isn’t true love anyway, can turn into something else—I tell you. If you are in love, have been in love, or longs to be in love, please establish standards below which you won’t settle, before, during and after any relationship. With standards profoundly ingrained in your mental and emotional banks, you will never feel like harming yourself when the going gets tough. You will always remember who you truly are. A divine unique individual, created in the perfect image of God who is important in this world. You will remember to love yourself even when loneliness strikes. You won’t settle for less than true unconditional love.

I know people who are currently stuck in relationships for purely strategic, or fear based reasons; such as convenience, the fear of being alone, financial gifts, societal expectations, the “I’m-getting-old-so –it-is-hard-for-me-to-attract-a-new-lover” syndrome. If one stays in such an energy vampiring relationship for a while, they will soon feel like death could offer more emotional benefits. This is true especially in abusive relationships where one of the parties is, and/or has suffered a tremendous amount of emotional, mental and physical torture. With that in mind, self-love becomes a struggle. One stays in the relationship for reasons external to their true heart-felt desires.  One way out of this mind battle is to repeatedly tell yourself how much you love you. “I love me” you can state for as many times as you can daily.

Why Not????


 

This last weekend, I administered a two day healing workshop about healing the wounded heart to attract love.  As I compiled the workshop material, skepticism took over my mind.

 “I wonder how many people will show up.” I thought to myself. “What if no one shows up?” My weak side continued.

I suddenly realized the kind of negative vibrations that I was infusing into my workshop. Much as they seemed really entertaining and soothing for my soul at that moment, they were also feeding into the negative programming of fear, doubt and failure.

As a way to snap out of this negative vibration, I asked myself these questions: Why not? Why not think of the positive? In any case I had nothing to lose. Why not just go for it? Why not go out there with enthusiasm knowing that whichever way the day presents itself, it will be alright?

I’m now posing the same questions to you. Why not take that empowering class that you’ve been putting off for a while? Why not see what will happen instead of blocking it when you don’t take action? Why not start thinking positively and convincing yourself that all is well regardless of appearances? Why not infuse your heart with love, forgiveness and inspired feelings, and then out of that vibration, do an act of love to a stranger today? Why not make a plan you’ve put off for a while…read that empowering book that has been lying on your shelf for months? Why not save the environment? Why not spend time meditating and praying? Why not take a vacation? Why not cancel all your paid-off credit cards and only make cash purchases?

 I encourage you for the next couple of days to move away from the “why” and go for the “why not” attitude. You see…the “why” makes you a victim.  So go for it…“WHY NOT?”

The Art of Instantaneous Manifestation:


Until recently, I embraced the statement “use everything within you to get what you want” religiously. It meant a lot of sense.

However, as I meditated at one of the points in the Grand Canyon – Arizona last week, I asked the universe for its guidance-especially regarding creation. I based my meditational-intention on the beauty and magnificence of the Grand Canyon. I had looked at the endless hills, contours, rocks and architectural earthly-strange creations, and just couldn’t digest this mind-blogging wonder. Furthermore, I couldn’t see the bottom of the Canyon-which bewildered my mind further. “Wow” I repeated severally-left with nothing else to say.

So-I set myself up for a meditation. “What’s the spiritual story behind this grand creation, and how can I utilize it for my own manifestations?” I asked. As I started relaxing-in the process of preparing my mind for the answers I sought, a thought crept into my mind. “Love”, it whispered. “This place was created as a result of immerse unconditional love-coupled with a burning desire to achieve its objectives.” My inner-secret voice silently whispered.

“Uuuh??” my critical mind questioned. “I don’t see love in these crazily-formulated contours and valleys” I thought.”

“But you are here for the sake of love. It’s love inducing you to seek for answers. Love brought you here. And this is the same love that the source of creation, God, employs to create.”

“Uuh” my conscious mind mocked. “This is confusing.” It continued.

When I finally finished my disturbing meditation, it came to me that love is the source of all things.

The determined and persistent erosive activity of the Colorado River, and the wind on the soft rocks, for millions of years, created this massive gap of wonder. I can’t think of any other word to compound determination and unconditional endurance, other than LOVE. Love is creative. Unconditional-full time love for anything, with absolute focus, is the most creative force in the universe.

Love should therefore be the only “thing” in your mind in order to manifest whatever you love. Love has no reasons. It’s not about using everything within you to get whatever you want. That’s struggle. It’s simply about getting everything within you in congruence with your desires. And then letting everything you’ve established within, to manifest your desires. Remember; you can never ever get what you want. You only get want you are. And this is how to do it.

1. Establish your heart’s desire.
2. Institute profound love for it in your mind.
3. Identify any related limiting beliefs, negative experiences, emotional and mental blockages-such as worry, doubt and fear.
4. Use your mind to clean and erase all the above vampire-thoughts from your internal word.
5. Wrap your mind around your heart’s desire with a profound determination, persistence and focus. Don’t let ANYTHING derail you from your goals. Focus…focus…focus. (I was recently faced with an ugly situation, and this step helped me out-so trust me, it works.)
6. Take inspired action and be flexible.
7. Watch as everything works together for your good.

Make an effort to sow seeds of the feelings you intend to experience when you achieve your objectives. If it is love you are seeking for, you should firstly infuse your inner world with love. Act lovingly, speak lovingly, think lovingly, and dress lovingly. Then…out of this vibration, you will magically be in congruence with the love you intend to attract from the outside. And this works for everything else you may want to attract. If it is money you want, your mind should establish a profound desire for the benefits that money will bring you. Identify the related feelings and build on those. Begin acting as though you already have the money. Start shopping around for whatever you want to use the money for.

In the pursuit of my goals, I have stumbled on a lot of resistance and negative people who found everything wrong with my work. I felt weak. But then rose up again-knowing that remaining down won’t help me achieve my goals. If we can only lodge whatever we desire in our minds, and come to a reflective conclusion that there are no options regardless of conflicting occurrences, then, and only then, shall we be in position to manifest our desires easily and effortlessly.
