Time Management Tips For Entrepreneurs

Dont waste time

If you are an entrepreneur you know how easy it is to get distracted. Unfortunately, we are so accustomed to falling prey of these distractions and hence end up wasting a lot of our valuable time that we could use to execute important tasks to improve our businesses and lives.

Below are a few tips that will help you manage your time more wisely even if you are not an entrepreneur

  1. Prioritize Your Tasks Based On Importance. Time wasters

Establish the one thing that you can accomplish today that will make you feel like you were productive. Complete that task first.

  1. Use “Do Not Disturb” On Your Phone.

Do not disturbIf you have apps on your phone through which you connect with friends and family, such as Whatsapp, update your profile as “do not disturb” during your working hours. Also turn off the notifications’ option from all your apps’ settings. This will help you focus on your tasks uninterrupted by the notifications’ sounds that tend to come in often.

  1. Get a to-do Listprioritize

This is extremely important as it will help you follow through with whatever you have listed. It is also a good tool that you can use to reward yourself especially if you’ve completed all the tasks on the list. Furthermore, if you are extremely busy or forgetful, the to-do list will keep you in check about what you have to accomplish.

  1. Delete Unimportant TasksDelete unimportant lists

If you keep rescheduling a task, perhaps it is not as important as you deemed it to be when you scheduled it. So, it shouldn’t be on your to-do list. If it is, do it or delete it.

  1. Assign Deadlines for Your Tasks

This will help you attend to the due tasks before their deadlines approach. You will be more consistent with your work if you actually stick to your deadlines.

  1. Avoid Time Wasters.

Do fewer things that are not making you productive, such as:

  • Watching non educational television
  • Over planning instead of doing
  • Waiting to be perfect to start tasks
  • Not knowing your priorities
  • Investing your time on face book and other social media, for fun
  • Worrying about what could go wrong
  • Keeping negative friends or staying in negative environments
  • Having no plan about where you want to go.
  • Gossiping
  • Not exercising
  • Exercising bad eating habits that will keep you weak and unfocused.
  1. Make a Procrastination List

No matter who you are, everyone procrastinates in some way. Make a list of important tasks you can work on. Save this list on your phone. Next time you procrastinate, open this list, and start working on one or some of the tasks.

  1. Make a “Waiting for” List

Sometimes we have to wait for certain things to happen before we can take action. For instance; let’s imagine that you need someone to respond in order for you to execute a particular task. Make a waiting list so that you can focus on what you can do now, and what you have to follow up on, so that you don’t forget.

  1. Block out “Me Time”self care

It’s very important to take time to clear your mind and nourish yourself. Make time for meditation or prayer, going to the gym or taking a walk or whatever else makes you feel at peace with yourself. Note that we are more productive when we feel good.

I’m certain that there are many other time management tools that you can employ to be more productive. But the above tips are a great reference.

The Only Competition there is, is with YOU!

Beloved soul,

Know that you are enough, and can never compete with anyone. You are unique, and there’s only one you with your blue print. So, focus on making yourself the best you. Don’t try to compete with anyone. Compete with yourself. Be better today than you were yesterday. Even when you are in a competitive setting, focus on expressing yourself the best way you can. The rest will work out itself.

In this VIDEO, I share an empowerment message with the preceding content as the theme.

Become Positively Selfish

Image

Often, we all focus too much on other people’s needs, problems, progress, etc, yet forget our own issues that could need urgent consideration. We then find ourselves so stressed out about other people’s issues, and ironically, ours.

There are times when we’ve got to become positively selfish; meaning that we give ourselves guilty-free permission to focus on ourselves.

Image

In the preceding process, we need to examine our physical, emotional and spiritual beings in order to establish where we need to stretch and heal; or how we can change and grow. Once we are done examining these areas of our lives, we then discover that we actually don’t have a lot of time dealing with other people’s businesses. Also, considering that the better we become, the more attractive we become to ourselves and to the outside world, it is imperative to take time out for ourselves.

So, how do you become positively selfish?

  1. Establish how you can improve your physical, emotional and spiritual states.
  2. Start out by exercising for at least 20 minutes a day. Remember that exercising releases endorphins that reduce stress.Image
  3. Come up with a simple daily to-do list that indicates the things that you will do to improve or elevate your emotional and spiritual statesImage
  4. Spend at least 10 minutes a day, less of interruptions such as TV, cell phones, and think about the things that you WANT to happen in your life.
  5. ImageRead an empowerment or self-help book for at least 15 minutes every night before you go to sleep. Try Do Not Force It, Tap The Good: an inspirational philosophical book that shares lessons the whole world can live by. Image

You can take charge of your life my friend by focusing on yourself. Remember that we all deserve to be on top of our game.

Are you FREE??? – Introducing the 14 Days Love Liberation Boot Camp at 50% for a limited time only:

Image

“Are you free?” is a mind-blogging question that my grandmother often asked me in my teenage years. Then, I always looked at her like she was crazy, because I had long before concluded that she was a strange one. My grandmother, who unfortunately passed away on December 27, 2011, (seems like yesterday), was a Spiritual Healer, Spiritual Chiropractor, and an incredible Master Herbalist-with a gift that was passed down from a long, and profound family lineage.

Before she passed away, I got a chance to ask her about the implications of this question. She explained that freedom is the ability to see, feel, sense, touch, think, intuit, sleep, and make decisions based on one’s core being. She further narrated that as soon as you are born into this world, you are automatically branded and programmed by your immediate loved ones, society and the environment. From that moment forth, you see the world, not based on your experiences and convictions, but on people who teach you their own way of living. Although this changes as you grow older, and not all these programs limit your evolution, there is a big part of you that gets jailed up by representations and convictions that are not your own. So-when you find yourself blocked and stuck as an adult; you have to go back to your roots, get in contact with your spirit, unconscious mind and ask them what doesn’t belong to you; what could be limiting your evolution; and how you can liberate yourself in order to experience a more fulfilling life.

Based on this knowledge, my own research, experience as a spiritual healer, qualifications are an Advanced Emotional Freedom Technician, Neuro-linguistic Programmer, and Ho’oponopono-ist, I recently complied and recorded a revolutionary healing program titled – The 14 Days Love liberation Book Camp, that tackles all energetic, mental, psychological, emotional and spiritual parts of one, in order to identify any blockages that could be affecting their free, and full evolution.

This program – The 14 Days Love Liberation Boot Camp, will heal one from the cellular level, cleanse the soul and spirit, reprogram the subconscious mind, clean and tune up the chakras, deal with childhood memories, daddy issues, karmic codes, fear-to mention but a few.

Until June 6, 2013, the program will be discounted at 50%, offering it an incredible amount of just of $29.99.

Remember; Information is nothing until employed and enthusiastically infused into one’s being.  Go get your copy today from www.tapthegood.com.

Do you really Breathe??

It is without doubt that if oxygen was for sell, the world would be under-populated.

Ironically, one thing that God foresaw is the fact that we need a lot of air in order to survive; reason as to why he provided it free of charge. However many deprive themselves of this amazing healing gift of oxygen. We simply don’t breath. People tend to breathe correctly only when they are sleeping.

Luckily, economic enthusiasts of the world haven’t figured out a way to invent a mechanism that requires people to pay for their daily intake of oxygen. If they ever figure that out, humanity will be in absolute turmoil.

As a Therapist, one of the most common causes of mental, emotional and physical problems is the lack of enough oxygen in the body. People pull their shoulders upwards, bend their backs inwards, strain their lungs with the lack of oxygen, and yet leave the bodies exhausted with caborndioxide since they don’t exhale properly. The related consequences are poor blood circulation, tight muscles, strained nervous systems and stress.

Breathing the correct way could seem like a lot of work especially if the body is not used to it. However, it becomes easier to do with repetition and consistency.

The way to reprogram your body to get accustomed to the proper way of breathing, is to wake up every morning and take several deep breathe; in through the nose, and out through the mouth.  Then continue doing this as you drive or walk to work. Repeat the process three times a day and the body will slowly store the memory of the good feeling it gets when you breathe deeply. Eventually it will start reminding your nerves to breathe deeply whenever you forget.

There are times I lay down on the floor and just breathe deeply for about half an hour; and the after feeling is incredible. Breathing relieves stress, rejuvenates the skin, improves vision, aids digestion, promotes clarity and focus, and most importantly, endorses a healthy well-being.  So please BREATHE freely well knowing that the air is complimentary.

No One owes you anything!

Out of frustration and lack of answers, we all at times turn to the people, organizations and/or things around us, to blame.  These are times when we can’t mentally digest or comprehend a situation that we might be faced with. It could also be discouraging when you look around you occasionally and discover that you are the only one struggling while others are excelling at whatever they are doing.

In the past, short of answers, I rang my mother and harassed her for hours about a challenge that I was facing; one that she had absolutely nothing to do with. I always expected her to have the answers. I will rephrase that; I actually had this profound conviction that she owed me answers, and explanations, and that she knew it all.  When I was younger, she attempted to come up with answers that made me feel better; whether they were viable or not, I was happy. However as I got older, she slowly started leading me into coming up with my own answers and/or solutions. “Give it a week; think about it; the answer is within you,” were some of her suggestions. In the beginning I got angry and concluded that she was probably just finding a way to avoid me. However I later appreciated the fact that she was not only trying to empower me, but also teach me that I had the power to make my own decisions, and also find my own answers.

On a more generalized level, many sit back and wait for their families to take care of them; governments to carter for their needs; employers to give them jobs.  However when things do not turn out the way they want, they blame everyone else but themselves. They blame their families, the government, employers, name it, they blame it. It gets to a point when their failures, challenges and/or unhappiness are everyone’s fault.

Please be reminded that no one owes you anything. No one owes you a job, housing, love, prosperity, peace and/or happiness. You owe yourself everything you need to survive and be happy. You owe yourself the mental, emotional and spiritual attitudes required to get your hearts’ desires.

Therefore, what have you done for yourself lately to stretch and improve your situation, or empower and/or develop yourself further?  What are your limiting blocks? What are your excuses?
